For many VCE students, exam preparation starts with good intentions. You tell yourself you'll begin early. You'll stay organised. You'll make summary notes after every class and complete practice exams well before October. Then life happens. There are SACs to prepare for, assignments to submit, co-curricular commitments, part-time jobs and the everyday distractions that come with being a student. Before you know it, Term 3 has arrived and exam season suddenly feels very real.

Within the VCE system, GAT results contribute to several key processes and can be used to calculate Derived Examination Scores for students who miss exams due to illness or disruption.
