Matt attended Melbourne High School as a selective-entry student and achieved distinction in two national Mathematics competitions. He later completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Melbourne, specialising in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Since 2021, Matt has individually tutored more than 50 Hendersons students, helping them develop the skills and exam techniques required for school success, academic competitions, scholarship examinations, and selective-entry testing. He teaches Years 6-9 Mathematics, Numerical Reasoning, and Science Reasoning, as well as VCE Chemistry.

By drawing on an extensive collection of practice materials and assessment resources, Matt identifies each student's strengths and areas for growth, providing targeted guidance that builds both confidence and achievement.
