Summit: Gifted Education Program
Hendersons' Summit Gifted Education Program is a supportive program for gifted and 2E primary aged students, that provides an environment to engage in interest-based projects tailored to their unique learning styles.
Our program fills a crucial gap in the educational journey of gifted and 2E learners, by offering a nurturing environment that celebrates uniqueness and teaches essential Executive Functioning skills for the future.

*Unlike other Hendersons programs, Summit is not designed to assist with Entrance Exam preparation or academic advancement.
What to expect from the Summit program:
-
Executive Functioning Skills: The core focus of the program. These skills are taught and practiced throughout, culminating in a project presentation from each student. Whilst we do not seek an alignment with traditional curriculum, the program aims to enhance higher order thinking and independent learning skills.
-
Tailored learning: Summit is designed to address unique and evolving needs, allow for student ownership of their project and learning style.
-
Educational Focus: We do not guarantee improvement in academic grades, rather we focus on skill development, an engaging program that strives to build a love of learning.
-
Supportive environment: We foster a community where your child's interests and talents are embraced and encouraged through a strength-based approach.
-
Classroom structure: Student are supported to work asynchronously within a class of 10 students, to engage and thrive, with the freedom to learn in a manner that encourages individuality.
